Merging James Cameron’s Avatar and the film Real Steel, Test Your Metal is set in the world’s last and greatest sport, the Surge, where competitors uplink their minds to “metalloids” and battle for an audience of billions. Kip Tornado, the Surge’s biggest fan, gets his dream chance to join the league, but when Kip and his four teammates climb the game’s ranks, this serialized action-adventure, comedic show follows the five players as they uncover the terrible secrets buried deep within the game and the futuristic city.
